A respected colleague, remembered with affection
Vale Paul: a wonderful friend, scholar and human being.
Paul will remain in my memory as the best tutor, most respected academic and very nice person. He encouraged me to pursue my doctoral studies during my Erasmus year at the University of Exeter. He will remain a source of inspiration for keeping enthusiasm and energy as an academic, no matter the vicissitudes. I will continue mentioning his name.
A great colleague who is missed
All our love to Julie and family
By a distance, the best friend, colleague and collaborator I ever had in the academic world, or could hope to have. Thank you, Paul, for all the talk, laughter, companionship, support, ideas, and raw hard work.
In memory of a lovely man and a great boss. Paul mentioned often the lovely holidays he'd had with his family in Landmark Trust properties.
It was a joy to have known you.
In Memory of a very human man
Paul was much loved valued and respected - I will particularly miss his humour, candour and untiring cheerfulness.
In memory of a great scientist, a lovely co-author, a wonderfuk person!
Typical Paul. Still putting others' happiness first.
Such happy memories of us all at School and am pleased that like our family you Julie and the family enjoyed the Landmark Trust - may the tributes to you enable them to continue with their fantastic work.
Paul spoke to me often about the Landmark Trust, and I know how much pleasure staying in the properties gave him. He was a great colleague and a good friend, and I shall miss him greatly.
Thank you, Paul, for your mentoring, humor, and amazing skills when playing 5-a-side. To do this day, I enjoy the wisdom of your supervision. Thank you, Julie, Liz, Richard, and Edward for providing me with a warm home. The dinners were great!
For all those times spent yomping on Lundy to a truly inspirational mentor and friend. You will be much missed, Pebbly Wall.

In memory of an old friend, loved and respected by so many for his intellect, kindness and generosity of spirit. A man of great warmth, wit and deep sense of justice. Many happy memories all the way back to LSE days.
In memory of Paul and for all the happy memories of Lundy.
Paul was a wonderfully supportive colleague. A real Exeter legend, he will be greatly missed by us.
